י״גהמוגמר אם הוא של עץ מברך בורא עצי בשמים ואם של עשב בורא עשבי בשמים ואם של שאר מינים בורא מיני בשמים:
13Regarding mugmar (incense): If it is made from wood, one recites “Who creates fragrant trees” (borei atzei besamim). If it is made from herbs, one recites “Who creates fragrant herbs” (borei isvei besamim). If it is made from other types of fragrances, one recites “Who creates various kinds of fragrances” (borei minei besamim).
י״דהמריח באתרוג של מצוה מברך עליו וי"א שאינו מברך לכך נכון שלא להריח בו: הגה י"א דהמריח בפת חם יש לו לברך שנתן ריח טוב בפת (אבודרהם ב"י סי' רכ"ו בשם א"ח) וי"א דאין לברך עליו (ב"י) לכך אין להריח בו:
14One who smells the etrog used for the mitzvah of Sukkot should recite a blessing over it. However, some say that no blessing should be recited over it, so it is proper not to smell it. Rema: Some say that one who smells hot bread should recite the blessing “Who gives a pleasant fragrance to bread” (she’asan re’ach tov bapat) (as cited in the Abudarham and Beit Yosef, Siman 236 in the name of **Rav Hai Gaon). Others say that no blessing should be recited over it (Beit Yosef). Therefore, one should avoid smelling it.

א׳ברכת הבשמים והמוגמר. ובו ח סעיפים:הנכנס לחנותו של בשם שיש בו מיני בשמים מברך בורא מיני בשמים ישב שם כל היום אינו מברך אלא אחת נכנס ויוצא נכנס ויוצא מברך על כל פעם ודוקא שלא היה בדעתו לחזור אבל היה דעתו לחזור לא יברך:
1Bénédiction sur les parfums. (6 paragraphes) .Celui qui entre dans une boutique où il y a plusieurs sortes de parfums récite la bénédiction Boré Minei Besamim (qui crée diverses sortes de parfums). S’il reste toute la journée dans la boutique, il ne bénira qu’une seule fois. Mais s’il entre et sort à plusieurs reprises, il devra bénir à chaque fois, à condition qu’il n’ait pas l’intention de revenir. S’il a l’intention de revenir, il ne bénira pas de nouveau.
