ג׳העולה לקרות בתורה והראו לו מקום שצריך לקרות וברך על התורה והתחיל לקרות או לא התחיל והזכירוהו שפרשה אחרת צריך לקרות וגלל הספר תורה למקום הצריך לקרות בו יש אומרים שאינו צריך לחזור ולברך וי"א שצריך:
3One who went up to read from the Torah, and they showed [the person] the place where [that person] should read from, and [the person] blessed over the Torah and started to read or [even] did not start to read, and then they reminded [the person] that [the person] is supposed to read a different parasha [section of the reading], and [then the person] rolled the Torah scroll to the place [the person] is supposed to read: there are those who say that [the person] does not need to go back and bless [again], and there are those who say there is a need [to do so].

א׳דיני הקורא והמקרא. ובו ח סעיפים:צריך לקרות מעומד ואפילו לסמוך עצמו לכותל או לעמוד אסור אלא אם כן הוא בעל בשר: הגה וכן החזן הקורא צריך לעמוד עם הקורא [מרדכי הל' קטנו']:
1The Laws of The Reader and The One Who Reads [For Another], Containing 8 S'ifimOne must read [from the Torah] while standing; and even to lean oneself on a wall or pillar is forbidden unless it is a heavy-set person. Gloss: And so too, the chazzan who calls up [the readers] must stand with the reader. (Mordekhai, Halakhot Ketanot)
ב׳לא יקראו שנים אלא העולה קורא וש"צ שותק או ש"צ קורא והעולה לא יקרא בקול רם ומכל מקום צריך הוא לקרות עם ש"ץ כדי שלא תהא ברכתו לבטלה אלא שצריך לקרות בנחת שלא ישמיע לאזניו (ואפי' משמיע לאזניו ליכא למיחש דלא עדיף מתפל' כדלעיל סי' ק"א) [ד"ע]:
2Two [people] may not read [together], rather the one got called up should read and the prayer leader is quiet, or the prayer leader should read and the one who got called up does not read in a loud voice. In any case, one [who is called up] must read [aloud] with the prayer leader so that his blessing should not have been in vain, but rather should read along quietly such that it cannot be heard by one's own ears.Gloss: And even if one's own ears can hear, this is not a concern, for it is no different than [hearing himself while] praying [the Amidah] as was seen above in siman 101. [His own opinion].
